Screening for Brain Metastases in Patients with HER2-positive Breast Cancer

The incidence of brain metastases, for which effective treatment options are limited, has increased such that brain metastases may develop in up to half of patients.¹

Screening for symptomatic brain metastases is necessary in patients with HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer. Early detection and treatment of brain metastases may improve the quality of life (QoL) and survival in these patients.²
